Our safe and reliable school horses and ponies can accommodate riders from the age of 5 years to adults. We provide fun and safe supervision during all activities both on and off the horses.
There’s no connection like the one you will make with a horse. SJE and Munchkins and Minis are here to help young people to adults learn to ride and care for horses, and experience the unique bond between horses and humans.

Mounted Munchkins Program
8 week Program for ages 5-6
As a stepping stone program from our ever popular Munchkins and Minis, Mounted Munchkins is our Beginner Riding Program for kids ages 5 and 6 who have gone through our Munchkins and Minis 8 week Program at least once or twice!
This is a fun horseback riding class for children, that parents get to to enjoy as well! Working together and learning about horses, this program is designed to build confidence, strength, focus, core balance, communication, and team work. In small groups parents lead their munchkins on our amazing school horses and assist them when riding, keeping everyone safe.
This is such a fun interactive class. It’s awesome to see parents and children enjoying the horses and sharing these special moments together.
Classes are 30 minutes long.
NOTE: Children must take our Munchkins and Minis 8 week Program as a prerequisite to this Mounted Munchkins Program.
Children must have an approved riding helmet, fitting stretchy pants, a boot with a quarter inch heel and gloves. Long hair must be tied back in a ponytail. Parents must also wear proper enclosed footwear!
